Blue Ocean was started in 2017 by a former Salesforce employee who’s been working with the platform for over 10 years. Today, we’re working with clients ranging from small businesses to enterprises across Canada and the United States to help them create their own Blue Oceans.
A former Salesforce employee, Derek started Blue Ocean CRM, a Salesforce systems integrator, in 2017 while completing his Executive MBA at the University of Ottawa.
With an extensive background in consulting, marketing and over 20 years in the IT industry, Derek has led Blue Ocean from a 1-person shop to almost 20, with sales more than doubling every single year since it began.
He holds 4 Salesforce professional certifications, has taught business at the college level and is forever learning.
Derek loves to travel and tries to surf whenever he can even though he isn't very good at it.

Luciana is an amateur photographer and a traveler addict; she is always looking for new experiences to take a shot.
Pam specializes in marketing automation, holds 4 Salesforce certifications and has worked in the Salesforce ecosystem for over 7 years. She also has a certification in Project Management from McGill University. Her digital marketing experience led her to spend many years as a Marketing Cloud Account Engagement/Pardot end-user and administrator. Her passion for the product evolved into becoming a consultant and has since been recognized as a Salesforce Marketing Champion.
Pam can be found playing with her daughter and their pets, organizing a music festival in their small town or geeking out on #martech.
Rene is a certified Project Manager, Business Systems Analyst, and Salesforce professional with 5 certifications and over 8 years of experience working with the Salesforce platform in various roles.
Over the past five years, Rene has led and delivered client solutions as a Salesforce Consultant for a variety of industries. His ability to build relationships, lead with empathy and manage projects has earned him positive reviews and recommendations from peers, clients, and leaders.
Rene is an old soul, loves music, and concerts, and has a collection of vinyl records from the 50s-to 90s. He lives in Vancouver with his wife and two young kids. His wife is a Physiotherapist and has helped with his posture over the years, like the evolution of man's picture.

He has a demonstrated aptitude in adopting modern methodologies and innovative techniques to boost work efficiency. He is highly experienced in working with and implementing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Education Cloud, Nonprofit and more.
Harsha is a Computer Science Engineering graduate and Salesforce Certified Application Architect with over 9 years experience on the platform.
